Building EcoAjo
Building EcoAjo involved careful research and collaboration to understand the needs of cooperative societies within the bank. We worked closely with members to design an intuitive platform with features for tracking contributions, managing expenses, and maintaining secure digital records. The result is a solution that streamlines management and fosters trust through transparency.
The Stack and Infrastructure
For EcoAjo, data integrity, strict auditability, and real-time transaction reliability were paramount. I architected the platform using Java and Spring Boot on the backend, engineering high-concurrency RESTful APIs capable of securely tracking recurring contributions, calculating balances, and processing transactions for 1,000+ concurrent users. The client-facing interface is built with Next.js, styled using Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui components to provide cooperative members and administrators with real-time financial analytics, transparent reporting, and an effortless user experience.
