The Modernization Mandate
As the flagship career acceleration platform for Australian firm CVTOCAREER PTY, the service connects active job seekers with enterprise opportunities across major employment boards. However, the legacy codebase suffered from severe architectural technical debt—monolithic views, tangled state logic, and sluggish rendering that hindered user retention and feature delivery.
I spearheaded the comprehensive architectural overhaul and complete UI redesign, migrating the platform from its tightly coupled legacy state into a modular, component-driven frontend engineered for performance, visual elegance, and enterprise reliability.

Component Architecture & User Experience
Decomposing complex screens into an atomic design hierarchy allowed us to eliminate redundant re-renders and enforce strict UI consistency. I implemented fluid micro-animations and intuitive interactive states, transforming the candidate journey into an engaging, responsive experience.
The revamped user dashboard provides real-time tracking across application stages, interview preparation sessions, and referral analytics with near-zero client latency and seamless state synchronization.

Monetization & Operational Observability
To facilitate international expansion, I engineered an administrative pricing and subscription management engine supporting customizable plan multipliers across six fiat currencies (AUD, GBP, EUR, USD, NGN, CAD).
Alongside billing flexibility, I introduced real-time account status reporting and automated webhook integrations, empowering administrators with deep observability into system health and account lifecycles for over 1,000+ active users on the live production platform.

The Stack and Infrastructure
To transform CVTOCAREER into a high-performance, enterprise-ready platform, I architected a modern, decoupled tech stack designed for rapid feature delivery and scale. The frontend is built on Next.js, leveraging TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui to construct an accessible component design system enhanced with fluid Framer Motion micro-interactions. The backend is powered by a high-throughput Express.js service deployed on a dedicated DigitalOcean droplet, supporting real-time webhooks, multi-currency subscription processing, and resilient candidate pipelines for over 1,000+ active users on the live platform at cvtocareer.com.
